FAQ

Q: Where is my data stored?

A: Your library and reading data are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. When you scan to look up book information, only the ISBN is sent to our cloud service for the query; your library content is not uploaded.

Q: How do I back up my data?

A: Go to "Me" → "Data Management" → "Export Backup" to export all books and reading records. You can save via AirDrop, iCloud Drive, etc.

Q: How do I restore purchases?

A: Go to "Me" → tap "Membership" on the profile card → tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the page.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: Open iPhone "Settings" → tap your name at the top → "Subscriptions" → find "BookBook" → tap "Cancel Subscription".

Q: Can't find book info when scanning?

A: Some niche or older books may not be in third-party databases. You can manually enter book information or try again later.
